Routesmith scores the routes you and your riding groups have already built against map data and the weather forecast, and helps you pick the one that fits the day. It is a small app, and access is currently limited and invite-only; if that ever changes, this page changes with it. It is for adults and is not intended for children.

By signing in or using Routesmith you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the app. How your data is handled is a separate document, the privacy notice, and these terms do not change anything it says.
Access is granted when you sign in and lasts as long as your account does. These terms are the agreement under which it is granted. The free plan costs nothing, and access to it can be suspended or withdrawn, for example if the app is being abused or if the service winds down. Keep the account you sign in with secure; what is done through it is treated as done by you.
Every plan keeps your whole route library on your device, scored. The plans differ on how much of the forecast they show. A new account gets Premium for a trial period, once per person: a record that the trial has been used is kept for up to a year, as the privacy notice describes, so that it cannot be taken again by deleting the account and rejoining.
Premium is paid for by subscription through a payment provider, on that provider's own pages. The price, the billing period and the way to change or cancel are shown there before you subscribe and in the subscription page afterwards. A subscription runs until you cancel it and is not refunded for the remainder of a period already paid for, except where the law gives you a right to a refund. If you subscribe as a consumer you have fourteen days from subscribing to change your mind; by subscribing you ask for Premium to start straight away, so cancelling inside those days is refunded less the days already used. If a payment fails, Premium continues while the provider retries it and ends when the subscription does; nothing is deleted when a plan changes, only the scores beyond what the plan covers. Deleting your account cancels any subscription at once.
Your routes remain yours. Connecting an account or bringing routes in grants Routesmith only what it needs to show and score them for you. Nothing you bring in is published, shared or sold, and your personal routes stay on your device. Only connect accounts that are yours to connect, and only add routes to a shared library that you are entitled to share: a shared library is visible to every member of its group.
Use Routesmith as a person, for planning your own riding. Do not probe, overload or interfere with the service, do not try to reach data or accounts that are not yours, and do not scrape or bulk-copy what the app shows you. Some features carry daily caps because each use costs real money; working around a cap or a limit counts as abuse.
Signing in, and any route service you choose to connect, runs through that service's own systems under its own terms. Using a service through Routesmith does not change your agreement with it, and Routesmith is not responsible for it. The map, terrain and weather data behind the scores comes from third-party sources under their own licences; the About page lists them.
Cycling on public roads carries real risk, and nothing in Routesmith reduces it. Scores, forecasts and suggestions are best-effort information to help you choose between your own routes. They are not advice or instruction, and never a statement that a road is safe, open, quiet or fit to ride: a forecast is a prediction, map data ages, and no score can see the road on the day. You are responsible for your own safety and for riding lawfully: judging conditions before and during a ride, riding within your ability, and keeping your equipment fit for it. The decision to ride, the route you pick and how you ride it are always yours. You ride at your own risk.
Routesmith is provided as it stands and as available. There is no promise that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular moment: it is a small project without a service level, and it may be changed, paused or shut down. Your routes live with the services you connected and on your own device, not on Routesmith's server, so losing access to Routesmith never means losing a route. It also means Routesmith cannot restore one for you.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Routesmith and the company providing it are not liable for any loss or damage arising from using the app or from decisions made on its information, including riding decisions, route choice, and anything that happens on a ride. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you use Routesmith as a consumer, nothing here takes away rights the law gives you that cannot be waived.
You can stop at any time: sign out, disconnect your services, or delete your account in Settings. The privacy notice describes exactly what deletion removes. The project can change too: features can be added, altered or removed, and the app itself may close. Where reasonably possible, significant changes are flagged in the app first.
When these terms change, this page changes and the date at the top moves. Significant changes are flagged in the app rather than left to be noticed. Using the app after a change means accepting the changed terms.
These terms, and any dispute about them or about the app, are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you use Routesmith as a consumer living elsewhere, this does not displace protections your local law gives you.
